Krauss likes serving in Eloy’s background
He’s worked for the city of Eloy for more than five years, but City Manager Harvey Krauss likes to keep a low profile.
Krauss originally came to Eloy as the community development director in 2013 before taking over the city manager position later that year.
“I was making some changes in my life at that time, so I took the job in Eloy,” Krauss said. “I liked the fact that it was close to Phoenix and it has a lot of growth potential. I enjoy working in a small community and seeing the fruits of my labor in terms of making a difference in a community. It’s appealing, the small-town atmosphere, it’s family oriented.”
