Cordes, Hughes, Anderson elected to Florence Town Council

Michelle Cordes and Judy Hughes were elected and John Anderson was re-elected to the Town Council in Tuesday’s primary election.
Cordes was the favorite following the unofficial results with 865 votes, followed by Hughes with 819 and Anderson with 761. All three are Anthem residents.
A candidate in Tuesday’s race needed at least 622 votes to be elected in the primary. Gary Pranzo trailed with 668 and Vice Mayor Vallarie Woolridge drew 618.
