Costly option likely as Marana looks to treat contaminated water
by Evan Schreiber | Tucson News Now
For the first time, publicly, the town of Marana is laying out options for treating its water system filled with unregulated, contaminated compounds.
In a public study session Tuesday night, August 14, in the council chambers, Water Director John Kmiec presented to the town council and the more than 100 people in attendance.
“What we did here tonight was provide a synopsis of what’s been going on the last 22 months and the direction that we’re looking at to help solve this issue,” Kmiec told Tucson News Now.
