LD11 candidate Lyon says focus should be on helping individuals

Hollace Lyon had been in and out of Arizona to see her parents and for her career since the 1970s. As she later moved to Arizona full time and began to pay close attention to Arizona politics about eight years ago, she said she noticed that state lawmakers were moving away from representing their constituents to focusing on making money for the state and big corporations.
So Lyon decided to run for the House of Representatives in Legislative District 11.
“There’s a big ethics issue in the Legislature,” Lyon said. “I wouldn’t say in terms of cheating and stealing, not that kind of ethics. In terms of serving the public.”
