Marana Council candidate changes tune on water woes

A number of upset residents blasted the Marana Town Council, last week, about reports of water contamination in parts of town.
The most heated criticism at the Aug. 7 council meeting came from council candidate Jack Neubeck, a former development consultant and Broadway performer.
“This is your responsibility for the health and welfare of the community,” he said during call to the audience. “It is something that needs to be addressed for the financial well being of the entire town and, most importantly, for the health of its citizens.”
