McCain remembered in Pinal as ‘kind, outstanding’

Anthony Federico has a picture hanging on his refrigerator of himself with U.S. Sen. John McCain.
It was taken eight years ago, when the Casa Grande man was 10 years old and a family member took him to a campaign event in Florence.
McCain asked Federico about a book he had made at school and requested that the boy sign it. Federico recalled feeling so honored the senator took the time to talk to him.
