Greyhound leaves Casa Grande, hopes to return

Passengers who need to take a bus out of town need to first get to the bus depot — which now is out of town.
Greyhound Bus service officially pulled out of the Casa Grande market this fall, following a lengthy ordeal with city officials this summer. City Council members voted not to allow the bus stop to remain at the Chevron station at Trekell and Kortsen roads, citing safety and other concerns raised by neighbors and planning commissioners.
City staff had given Greyhound time to secure a new, more suitable location in Casa Grande; however, one was not found.
