Pinal asks ADOT to make I-10 safer

The Pinal County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution Wednesday asking state agencies to make Interstate 10 safer for motorists.

The resolution seeks to reduce the number of fatal accidents along the busy freeway that cuts through Casa Grande and Eloy.

Nearly 5,000 crashes were reported on the section of I-10 that’s located in Pinal County between 2007 and 2016, according to the resolution, and 100 of those incidents resulted in fatalities.
