Why are Pinal gas prices so much higher than Tucson’s?

Visitors to Tucson this weekend might want to fill up on gas while they’re there.

That’s because gas is 32 cents a gallon on average cheaper in Tucson than in Casa Grande. On Tuesday the average gasoline price in Tucson was $2.60 per gallon. In Casa Grande, it was $2.92.

Michelle Donati, a spokeswoman with AAA, said a number of factors can influence gasoline prices, but the largest one is location, location, location.
