Coolidge-based helicopter brings help from above

When people typically see helicopters flying overhead they may stop for a moment to look on and even point out the aircraft to their children as it makes its way across the sky.

And while some helicopters may be used by businesses to transport passengers or even give tourists the lay of the land as happens at popular sites like the Grand Canyon, others are a vital instrument in getting patients fast medical attention.

With a base located at the Coolidge Airport, Arizona Lifeline is one of a few companies offering emergency medical airlift services to the Pinal County region.
