“It’s just an idea,” Community Development Director Jon Vlaming said. “We’ve had the current logo since the mid-’80s and more recently we’ve been doing some things with our website, updating that with the new City Hall.”

Eloy is not the first city to dabble with the idea of holding an online competition. The city of Buckeye previously held a similar competition and received over 100 designs.
