Pundits tell Pinal Partnership Arizona becoming purple

Despite some races in Arizona being still too close to call — not to mention thousands of uncounted ballots — a panel of prominent pundits broke down key races Friday.
Speaking to the Pinal Partnership at the Elements Event Center, strategists from both political parties conceded that Arizona continues to shift into a “purple” state, meaning the majority that was traditionally conservative now supports more progressive candidates.
“We’ve traditionally been red but we’re moving purple,” said Gibson McKay, a public relations strategist and lobbyist.
