ADOT making moves on I-10 to widen freeway, add dust detection system

On Thursday, the Arizona Department of Transportation moved westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Eloy to new lanes.
In a press release, ADOT wrote, “The new westbound lanes run east of the current alignment starting near milepost 213 and reconnect with the existing lanes of I-10 near milepost 209.”
The eastbound lanes remain in place for now, but will be moved next month.
