Attesa, Pinal County reach agreement on zoning, incentives

A years-long process for a planned motor sports project has gotten a little closer to becoming a reality.
The Pinal County Board of Supervisors Wednesday approved the zoning and associated development agreement for Attesa, a 2,400-acre mixed-used facility that is to be a combination of racetracks and commercial and residential uses.
The facility is to incorporate research and development, specialty tracks for test driving, a hotel and conference center and retail space at full build-out.
