Having an engineer on hand for future studies will be beneficial for the city, council members heard Monday.
During a Coolidge City Council meeting, Gabe Garcia, finance director, said the city will enter into contracts with three wastewater engineering firms in anticipation of doing a complete wastewater master plan. Having the three firms on contract will allow the city to hire the most qualified of the three for projects specific to their area of expertise, he said.
The city will use a contract similar to one used by the town of Florence.
