Maricopa mayor reports on SR 347 progress after meeting with ADOT

Christian Price is making sure state officials don’t forget about the issues on State Route 347.
In a lengthy Facebook post published last Tuesday, the Maricopa mayor detailed a meeting he had with the Arizona Department of Transportation over several issues residents face when traveling to, from and within the city.
Price said he asked ADOT and Department of Public Safety officials about providing more law enforcement presence on the highway to try to slow vehicles down, and in doing so potentially reduce the number of wrecks and injuries.
