PCSO Receives Grant Money from Governor’s Office of Highway Safety

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office has been awarded a total of $236,000 in grant funding by the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety to help PCSO keep county roads safe.

The money will go to assist deputies in their speed and DUI enforcement efforts. While a majority of the funds will go to pay for overtime during our speed enforcement operations and yearly and holiday DUI task force details, $46,000 was given to our traffic unit to purchase a new Dodge Charger.
