Pinal marketing guru says branding vital to tourism

Marketing and branding aren’t the same, especially when it comes to generating tourism, a public relations official says.
Louie Moses, whose marketing firm Moses Inc. services Pinal County, said the county and individual municipalities need to be proactive in promoting themselves as tourism destinations, noting that tourism often equates to economic development because people often move to places they’ve visited.
“(Visits) give an example of why they’d move there,” Moses said.
