Carr McNatt Park renovations to begin Wednesday

Like a team putting the ball over the goal line, the city of Casa Grande added one to the scoreboard in the life of a park.
Monday, city officials and representatives from an architectural firm and construction company turned the initial dirt on a major renovation of Carr McNatt Park, located between 10th Avenue and McMurray Boulevard, and between Casa Grande and Brown Avenues.
“We have a little bit of symbolism here today,” said Steve Hardesty, director of community services for the city of Casa Grande. “I’m standing on the goal line but in just a few minutes we’re going to take the project over the goal line.”
