Longtime Greater Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Helen Neuharth Retiring
[NEWS RELEASE] The Board of Directors of the Greater Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce has announced that longtime President/CEO Helen Neuharth will be retiring from her position effective March 29, 2019. Neuharth has been CEO of the Chamber since August 1991.
Under Neuharth’s leadership, the Chamber has grown substantially through the addition of many new benefits and programs for chamber members. These include but are not limited to: Business Showcase; Home, Health & Garden Show; Biz Outlook Luncheons; Business Before Hours networking events; increased sponsorships for Chamber events; the launching of various facets of social media: Facebook, Twitter and You Tube and updating the Chamber’s website. Neuharth has streamlined the Chamber’s monthly newsletter; strengthened the partnerships with educational institutions, governmental entities and community organizations; and ensured that the Chamber has been accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce continuously since 1991.
Helen served on the board of Arizona Chamber Executives and was its president in 1997. She also served on the board of the regional organization, Western Association of Chamber Executives.
“Serving the Chamber for the last 27 ½ years, has been a wonderful experience. I would like to thank the current and past board members and staff for their support. I feel truly honored to have been a part of this great organization and to have been a part of advocating for business growth and economic development. This Chamber is fortunate to have great members that support, not only this organization, but the community.” Neuharth added, “This is my home and I plan to remain in Casa Grande.”

We have been fortunate to have Helen’s leadership and guidance in operating the Chamber for over 27 years. Her knowledge and passion for Casa Grande and the development and advancement of the business community in Casa Grande will be missed. The board and I wish her the best of luck in her retirement.”
