Garcia hired as Apache Junction Food Bank executive director

The Apache Junction Food Bank has announced the hiring of Myra Garcia as executive director. She was most recently employed by United Way of Pinal County before rejoining the food bank where she previously served as operations manager.
“In her 20-year-plus business career, Myra has shown to have exactly the kind of proactive approach we need to stay on top of our needs as the leading food bank in the east Valley,” Apache Junction Food Bank president Bob Mohle said in a release.
“She has earned a reputation for making expert recommendations for strengthening an organization’s ability to fulfill its mission and vision.”
