Pinal hospital serves as film shoot location

A film production crew was on location at Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Pinal County for several hospital-based scenes being filmed for the movie “John Light” this month.
The faith-based film, produced by JCFilms, includes actor Dean Cain, who held a brief meet-and-greet with hospital staff and families on March 16 before shooting began. The “John Light” screenplay was written by Gilbert resident Dave Welty. The movie release date is unknown.
According to promotional material, “John Light” tells the story of one man’s power of forgiveness as well as his challenges in overcoming the stigma of being an ex-convict.
