Pinal Partnership Open Space and Trails Committee Meeting March 5th

Ian Dowdy

We urge all who are interested in enhancing Pinal County open space and trails conservation and use to attend the March 5th Pinal Partnership Open Space and Trails Committee meeting at 9AM in Florence (Rec. Rm B, Florence Community Center, 778 N Main St.) (see attached agenda).

The meeting will feature a presentation and discussion led by Ian Dowdy of the Center for the Future of Arizona (CFA), early in their state-wide ‘road-show’ aimed at unifying Arizonians around The Arizona We Want Citizens’ Agenda.  The CFA is stressing a broader, collaborative, more integrative approach to the issues residents wanted to see addressed in a statewide poll: education, water and open space, jobs, health, transportation & Infrastructure, young talent, connected communities, and citizen participation.  Water and open space will be only one theme of the session, but its importance may be felt throughout.

Please join us as we strive to help move Pinal County and Arizona forward in all facets of the Citizen’s Agenda, while also enhancing open space conservation!
