Sharon Girard Announces Run for Arizona Legislative District 8

Sharon Girard is kicking off her campaign for the Arizona House of Representatives with a District Eight tour that will reach from Globe to Casa Grande. Her campaign announcement is inspired by the lack of affordable healthcare, the teacher shortage, school funding crisis, and Republican Leadership blocking the Equal Rights Amendment.
“Arizona Republican Leadership is failing to provide access to the right to opportunity in our state, and District 8 is hurt most by this failure,” said Girard. “School districts can’t find certified teachers, residents can’t find affordable healthcare, so it’s clear that change is needed in leadership at the Capitol. We’re campaigning to change the makeup in the House to put a check on special interests and the governor.”
