The new Pioneer Justice Court in San Tan Valley has already handled nearly 4,000 cases since it began operating as a separate jurisdiction in January.
A new court facility opened its doors at 3675 E. Hunt Highway on May 6.
Justice of the Peace for the Pioneer Justice Court is Shaun Babeu. Babeu previously served as Justice of the Peace for the Apache Junction Justice Court for eight years before being elected to the new Pioneer Precinct in San Tan Valley.
