Survey shows high technical interest and skills in Pinal
by Mark Cowling | Florence Reminder & Blade Tribune
There’s high interest in and experience with science and computers in Florence, along with designing equipment or technology and inventing products and services.
These are among the findings of the latest Pinal County Skills Assessment, completed this month by Strategic Research Initiatives of San Tan Valley. Florence Town Manager Brent Billingsley touted these and other findings June 19 at the town’s cybersecurity symposium.
The study was compiled from 1,791 surveys of Pinal County residents between January and March. The purpose was to provide Pinal County’s Economic Development Department with data on skills and current employment to assist in attracting business and industry to locate to or expand in Pinal County.
