Climbing, spinning, sliding, splashing all possible in new CG park

There were plenty of squeals and giggles from children Thursday afternoon as the water to Casa Grande’s new splash pad was turned on for the first time.
The newly upgraded Carr McNatt Park, which includes a water play area, playground equipment and other features, officially opened Thursday beneath cloudy skies and a sprinkle of rain.
But the weather didn’t dampen the spirits of area kids, who were eager to climb, spin, slide and splash in the new play area.
