County Assessor Wolf appointed to national committee on agriculture and rural affairs

douglas-wolfNational Association of Counties President Mary Ann Borgeson appointed Pinal County Assessor Douglas Wolf to a term as a member of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Steering Committee.

Ms. Borgeson, a Douglas County, Nebraska, commissioner, made her leadership appointments shortly after being sworn in as NACo’s president on July 15, the final day of NACo’s 84th Annual Conference and Exposition in Las Vegas/Clark County, Nevada, according to a release.

“I am extremely honored to be appointed to this crucial committee that deals with congressional legislation that directly affect the citizens of Pinal County. It is an opportunity for rural Arizona to be voice at the table on such issues as water resources and expanding broadband access,” Mr. Wolf said in the release.
