$2.2M contract OK’d for sewer, water work on Germann, Meridian

A $2.2 million construction services contract has been approved for the construction of water and sewer lines along Germann Road, Signal Butte Road to Meridian Road; and a water line along Meridian Road, Germann to Ryan Road.

Queen Creek Town Council, at a recent meeting, approved the $2,243,509 contract with Western Utility Contractors, doing business as Overley’s.

The project includes constructing approximately 5,200 feet of 24-inch sewer trunk line and 18-inch water main on Germann Road. Approximately 4,000 feet of 12-inch water line and 1,400 feet of 10-inch water line will be constructed on Meridian Road, Paul Gardner, the town’s utilities director, said in a memo to the council.
