New year, new challenges for Casa Grande Main Street director

After seven years of touting the benefits of downtown Casa Grande, including shepherding the Neon Sign Park to completion, Rina Rien, the director of Casa Grande Main Street, is leaving for a slightly different line of work.
Rien said she’s staying with the organization through January to help coordinate one last Street Fair, Car and Bike Show.
“It’s one of our largest fundraisers,” she said.
Casa Grande Main Street gets some funding from the city of Casa Grande and the national Main Street organization but most of its funds come from fundraising events, sponsorships and grants, Rien said.
