Corporation Commission Lifts Moratorium On New Water Hookups In San Tan Valley
One of the nation’s fastest growing real estate markets will face fewer restrictions on new homes this year.
After Johnson Utilities customers complained of repeated water outages and sewage overflows, the Corporation Commission appointed EPCOR as an interim manager for the utility in 2018.
The commission also imposed limits on 4 sections of the Johnson service area, allowing only one new water hookup per development per month.
Those limits have now been removed.
