Traffic improvements recommended around Florence

Several key roads surrounding the town will be at an E or F level of service by 2040, but improvements will bring them up to a C or perhaps a B, according to the town’s upcoming transportation planning study.
Two-lane Hunt Highway, from Bella Vista Road to Arizona Farms Road, will be an F by 2040, and would be a B if expanded to six lanes, the study says. Hunt Highway from Mirage Avenue to Franklin Road would also be an F, but an upgrade to four lanes would make it a B, according to the study.
Attaway Road south of Hunt Highway will be an F by 2040, but widening it to four lanes would improve it to a C.
