Caliente Construction breaks ground on $9M office, hangar building at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport

Caliente Construction Inc. broke ground recently on a combination office and hangar building at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport for Aviation Performance Solutions, a provider of upset prevention and recovery training.

Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is owned and operated by the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority. PMGAA consists of representation from Mesa, Gilbert, Queen Creek, Gila River Indian Community, Phoenix, and Apache Junction. Gateway Airport welcomes almost two million passengers each year and offers nonstop service to approximately 50 domestic and international destinations on Allegiant, Swoop, and WestJet.

Caliente, an Arizona-based general contractor providing commercial construction services in the Western U.S. for almost 30 years, collaborated with architect Dekker Perich Sabatini on the $9 million development that initially consists of approximately 10,000 square feet of office and training space on two levels and 14,000 square feet of hangar space.
