Casa Grande planner retires after 30 years of service
Laura Blakeman is retiring after working for the city of Casa Grande for more than 30 years.

After starting as a part-time employee in the city’s parks department and working her way up to be a city planner, Laura Blakeman is ready to retire after more than 30 years of service to Casa Grande.
“I love Casa Grande. I grew up in Casa Grande and went to school here,” Blakeman said. “I wanted to finish my career here at the city because Casa Grande is my hometown.”
Blakeman said her last day with the city will be Wednesday.
