Cotton Days attracts crowd to Coolidge’s downtown

Runners, carnival goers, parade onlookers, car enthusiasts and music lovers kept Central Avenue abuzz with activity throughout the Cotton Days weekend.
The 39th annual festival organized by the Coolidge Chamber of Commerce got its start on Friday afternoon with the opening of the carnival at San Carlos Park and wrapped up on Sunday after three days packed with quality entertainment, good food and family-friendly fun.
The most highly anticipated activities of the event took place on Saturday, beginning with a 5K run that got its start about 7:30 a.m.
