Eloy council approves water and wastewater capacity fees

The Eloy City Council adopted a resolution Monday for a permanent budget base adjustment and approved new water and wastewater capacity charges.
Part of the resolution will allow the city to permanently adjust its base limit with voter approval during the general election. The adjustment allows the city to spend the revenue it collects for programs it operates in a manner that adequately serves the needs of the community based on current financial conditions.
Permanent base adjustments apply to all future years, but voters are allowed to adopt additional adjustments.
