New Casa Grande Main Street director brings younger perspective to the job
The new Main Street director has arrived and she’s a lifelong resident of the city.
Holly Rakoci took over the seat at the downtown organization from Rina Rien, who had served as director of Casa Grande Main Street for the last seven years and resigned from the position in January to take up work at AZ New Horizon Realty.
The purpose of Main Street is to help revitalize the downtown area, drawing shoppers, visitors and new business. In the past it has helped fund the creation of several downtown murals and was one of the major supporters of the creation of the city’s Neon Sign Park. It also publishes pamphlets with walking tours of the historic downtown and the annual visitors guide.
