Boyce Thompson Arboretum lifts temporary restrictions; visitation is limited to 500 guests per day

Boyce Thompson Arboretum (BTA) has updated the temporary limitations on visitation with regard to the national state of emergency over COVID-19. The new limitations are effective immediately and will remain in place until further notice; any changes to this policy will be made in accordance with guidelines from federal, state and local health officials.

The safety of visitors, members, staff and volunteers is of utmost importance, and BTA has implemented the following limitations and restrictions to help prevent the spread of the virus:

  • Visitation is limited to 500 people per day, first-come, first-served each day of the week.
  • All visitors are asked to observe signage and adhere to social distancing protocols.
  • Members and visitors may make reservations for Saturday or Sunday time slots online at btarboretum.org/reservations
  • A limited number of guests will be allowed entry each half hour.

The Arboretum is open daily from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. with last entry is at 4 p.m. until May 17, from which point operating hours will be from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. with last entry at 2 p.m. June through August BTA will be closed on Tuesdays.
