“If George Floyd was white, would he be dead?” a woman asked earlier this month at a meeting of about 30 members of local minority groups with top county law enforcement and other officials.
“No” was the immediate response of those around her.
Pinal County Sheriff Chief Deputy Matt Thomas asked, “We want to hear; is there stuff we’re missing that we can do better, especially in uniform? Because we’re trying to relay to our ladies and gents to do that.”
