Casa Grande has high rate of response to census

The city of Casa Grande has one of the highest rates of residents self-responding to the 2020 census in the county, according to a map on the U.S. Census Bureau’s website.
The map shows Casa Grande with a self-response rate of 58.8% residents as of Monday. The Census Bureau defines a self-response as a household that has filled out and returned the census form online, by phone or by mail by themselves.
In comparison, Pinal County has a self-response rate of 51.6% and the city of Maricopa has the second highest rate with 54.9% of residents responding. Arizona’s self-response rate currently sits at 57.1% and the nation’s at 60.8%. The Arizona city with the highest response rate is Oro Valley with 74.5%. The Arizona city with the lowest response rate is Tusayan with only 2.3% of residents responding.
