Casa Grande seeks public input on how to use $6.7M in coronavirus aid

The city of Casa Grande is asking for public input on how to use its $6,731,338 share of the $1.86 billion in federal CARES Act the state received.

According to the CARES Act, the funds can be used to fund public health and safety measures such as payroll for public safety employees and other employees who are responding directly to the coronavirus pandemic.

The funds can also be used to set up rent, mortgage or small business or nonprofit assistance programs.
