Liermann brings fresh perspective to Maricopa politics in first campaign

City Council candidate Amber Liermann is ready to bring her people skills as a school counselor to City Hall in 2021.
The mental health and crisis counselor at Maricopa High School says her experience in veterans issues and her ability to creatively problem solve will gain her a seat on the dais.
This is her first run for a political position, but she has always been active in politics as a voter and a citizen lobbyist.
