Pinal County Announces Launch of Business Sustainability Program

[NEWS RELEASE] Pinal County is pleased to announce the launch of the Business Sustainability Program, an initiative to help those businesses in unincorporated Pinal County negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Business Sustainability Program offers a one-time reimbursement of up to $15,000 to qualifying businesses for rent, mortgage, and/or utility expenses for a three-month period. Applicants must have been negatively impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Anthony Smith, Chairman of the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, said of the program, “We’re encouraging all small business owners that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic to apply. Pinal County created this program to be a quick and easy way to get vital financial support directly to those that need it the most.”

Applications will be accepted from 9 am on Monday, 15 June 2020, until 5 pm on Wednesday, 15 July 2020.

To qualify, applicants must be a for-profit business, located at a physical, commercial address in an unincorporated area of Pinal County. At this time, non-profit organizations and home-based businesses are not eligible. Businesses located in Pinal County cities and towns should look out for communication from their city or town related to business support programs they may be offering.

Applications will be accepted from 9 am on Monday at this same link. Applicants are highly encouraged to complete the application online; however, there will also be the option to download an application form and submit by mail.
