In second run, Marsh has eyes set on floodplain, SR 347

Council candidate and local senior advocate Bob Marsh is making another run for a council seat this year in the hope of bringing his scientific and analytical background to the table.

Retired from his career at Microsoft, he said he is ready to take on the challenge of becoming a council member full-time. He made a bid for the position in 2018, but lost on a close margin. This year, he’s set to run using many of the same platform issues that he believes still need addressing.

Most recently, the former planning and zoning commissioner and current Pinal County Board of Adjustment member worked closely with the Maricopa Flood Control District to help his subdivision, Desert Cedars, rise out of the floodplain.
