The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension and Community Action Human Resources Agency are conducting a series of presentations to inform the public of the services available in Pinal County.

The information will come via Zoom, a computer application. The sessions will be available to the public starting at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday Information sessions will take place every two weeks. The material that will be shared will be up-to-date information from agencies and organizations offering important services, especially during the pandemic, CAHRA said in a press release.

The first session is on the 2020 U.S. census. Although information on the census has been widely advertised in videos, flyers, television ads and billboards, community members are strongly encouraged to do all that can be done to obtain the best counts possible, the press release said. With the news that the White House has reduced field data collection by a month, ending it on Sept. 30 rather than Oct. 31, it is imperative to inform and encourage those who have not responded to the census, CAHRA said.
