Casa Grande council to consider plans for large apartment complex

The City Council will meet on Monday evening to discuss zoning changes for a new 284-unit apartment complex and the 2030 General Plan.

The Planning and Zoning Commission previously approved a major site plan for the apartments west of Camino Mercado and south of Florence Boulevard.

The commission recommended approval of a planned area development amendment by increasing residential density from 207 maximum dwelling units to 284 with two conditions.
