Eloy council likes Sunland Gin Road design, questions traffic regulations

This design concept to alleviate traffic congestion was presented to the Eloy City Council for the area of Sunland Gin Road and West Arica Road./Sunrise Engineering
Earlier this year the Eloy City Council approved a contract with Sunrise Engineering to provide a conceptual design plan for the area of Sunland Gin Road south of Interstate 10 toward West Arica Road to alleviate traffic congestion during commute hours.
Last week the council was presented with a possible design and some preliminary phases of the project and provided feedback about the ideas presented.
The plan is based on the recommendations from a traffic analysis that was presented back in May 2019 by Southwest Traffic Engineers.
