Pinal County Economic Development and Workforce receive recognition awards from the Arizona Association for Economic Development

“Receiving this award is a true honor. To be chosen the ‘Best’ amongst your peers is always a humbling but proud experience,” exclaims Director of Economic & Workforce Development Tim Kanavel. “The Award also validates the Board of Supervisor’s vision to create a world-class economic and workforce development program to benefit our nearly 500,000 residents and all our large and small businesses in Pinal County.”

“In the midst of major economic growth throughout Pinal County, it’s an exciting time to be a part of the workforce development team,” remarks Deputy Director of Workforce Development Aaron Moon. “This award is truly the culmination of tremendous County leadership and the disciplined execution of workforce development initiatives and activities by all involved. I’m very fortunate and humbled to be selected to carry our torch this year! – or something like that.”
