Queen Creek to look at annexation, rezoning for housing
The Oueen Creek Town Council may agree to annex land east of Meridian Road from Germann Road, north to the future State Route 24.
The Queen Creek Town Council holds its next meeting on Nov. 4. Road and sewer improvements, as well as annexation are on the agenda.
The public will have its say on a proposal to annex approximately 131 acres east of Meridian Road from Germann Road, north to the future State Route 24.
In that same vein, there will be a public hearing and possible action on a request from Woodside Homes to rezone approximately 390 acres to allow for a future residential and commercial development at the southeast corner of Meridian and Germann roads.
