Wilson wins mayor election in ‘great community’

Vice Mayor Chip Wilson won the general election for mayor of Apache Junction, beating Councilmember Robin Barker.
“I’m looking forward to this opportunity that the voters of Apache Junction have given me,” he said.
“I want to say to the voters of Apache Junction, ‘Thank you.’ I appreciate your continuing support and will continue to represent everyone in our great community,” Mayor-elect Wilson said.
